Needs quilting...

I finished this quilt in December of 2011, started quilting it in 2012 and now I need to remove the quilting and do it all over. I'm hoping to get it finished January 2013.

Bee Simple

I have begun to put together some of my blocks and have made 1 for another member. These blocks were designed by Nancy Rink and I found them in Quilt Magazine, June/July 2011, page 45.

For a member who wanted blues.

The Red Violets and Greens are mine.

This is what my finished quilt will look like.

Aqua and Red

This is my month to receive blocks from the other members and they have begun to come in. I want to finish this quilt in a hurry, so I have begun stitching it together and am still making the flying geese border.

I have made some for other members also, in their choice of block

More Wonky Trees

I have finished my trees, I've just got to get them in the mail. I loved making these and plan to make some for myself. I especially enjoy making the applique. I love being able to let my imagination run wild and make whatever I wish. Who sad wonky trees had to be triangles?

I have joined the Wonky House Blocks Bee and we're making Wonky Trees. It's so much fun. I've signed up to make 8 and here is my first 3.

Here's the beginning of my palette for the Bee Simple bee.

Aqua and Red Bee

I'm in the Aqua and Red Bee and February is my month. I'm having a 16 patch block done and I think it's going to be so cute.

I still have 3 more blocks to make myself and the borders. I'm planning a flying geese border.

The finished quilt will look something like this.

Some Great Virtual Bee's

I'm in some really great virtual bee's for the next few months and hope to put some of the blocks and quilts on here in the near future. You'll find links above to the various blocks we're working on.

Finished...First Quilt of the New Year

I did finally finish the Wonky House Quilt for little Jazzy.
